Member of Visarte Neuchâtel since its creation in 1917, the Museum of Art and History will present a selection of works from its graphic collection until the beginning of January 2021 on the occasion of the publication of the catalogue of editions.
This important ensemble reflects the dynamism of Neuchâtel's engraved creation of the 20th and early 21st centuries, and the keen interest of the canton's artists in the art of printmaking.
The last ten works published by the association, dated from 2010 to 2019, are on display, bearing witness to the latest developments in this rich and complex medium. You will discover the most contemporary techniques of printed art: silkscreen and pigment printing, alongside traditional techniques, constantly revisited by artists, such as woodcutting and etching.
