The Musée d’art et d’histoire de Neuchâtel (MahN) and the Fondation Jacqueline Oyex are joining forces to celebrate the art of printmaking. This year, the Distinction Jacqueline Oyex is awarded, on the recommendation of the MahN, to Palais, a Neuchâtel-based gallery and publisher of prints.
On this occasion, the Foundation is offering the MahN the series Secondo, published in 2025 to mark the gallery’s tenth anniversary. This substantial ensemble brings together 74 woodcuts by artists from Neuchâtel, Switzerland, and the international scene. A multiplicity of voices, sensibilities, and graphic languages that testify to the vitality of contemporary creation.
In addition to this donation, a significant body of prints and paintings by Jacqueline Oyex (1931–2006) enters the Museum’s collections, marking the artist’s debut within them.
