The collection of the Suchard chocolate company comprises over 35,000 items. It spans the period from 1826 (when Philippe Suchard established a chocolate factory at Serrières) until 1996 (when the Neuchâtel site was closed).

This extraordinary collection consists of photographs, illustrated posters, cartons, packaging and various advertising materials as well as moulds, models of buildings, production equipment, derivative products and personal belongings of the Suchard family. The flagship brands – Milka, Sugus, Suchard-Express and Toblerone – are well represented.

The photographs portray the display windows of shops in Switzerland and throughout the world, views of factories and workshops, workers, and advertising vehicles.
